10992 Description And Summary :

Diameter in engine ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off and nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code.

10992 Possible Causes:

10992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 10992 Code

  • Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
