10990 Possible Causes:
10990 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10990 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
