Diameter in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start controller pin coding, implausible signal . On the other hand relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
10989 Possible Causes:
10989 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10989 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
