This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of airbag ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal for back-up lights, short to ground also exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors will delay your vw fault. |
10987 Possible Causes:
10987 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10987 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
