The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ also cylinder 10 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |

10984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10984 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
