Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground and actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open will delay your vw fault. |
10983 Possible Causes:
10983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10983 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
