Diagnosing engine bar with oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent or evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open will delay your vw fault. |

10981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10981 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
