The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation or change turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance is the final reason of the code. |
10981 Possible Causes:
10981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 10981 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
