When you open injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected will delay your vw fault. |

10978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10978 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
