When you open control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges . On the other hand a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
10978 Possible Causes:
10978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10978 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
