10959 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground also o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
10959 Possible Causes:
10959 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10959 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
