10940 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed and wait then low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
10940 Possible Causes:
10940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10940 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
