This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of central electric ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground and wait then exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
10940 Possible Causes:
10940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10940 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
