Staring in engine activation starter relay 2, open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ you can see the glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
10916 Possible Causes:
10916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10916 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
