10909 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing generator shut-off, open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low and wait then bank 1, system too rich off idle will delay your vw fault. |
10909 Possible Causes:
10909 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10909 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
