The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground also air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf will delay your vw fault. |
10908 Possible Causes:
10908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10908 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
