This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 3 above knock threshold and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
10901 Possible Causes:
10901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10901 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
