The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass or generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
10878 Possible Causes:
10878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
