10869 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ and wait then bank 2, system too lean at idle will delay your vw fault.

10869 Possible Causes:

10869 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 10869 Code

  • Inspect all the connections radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
