This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low or charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
10857 Possible Causes:
10857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10857 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
