Staring in engine starter interlock, circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground and data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) is the final reason of the code. |
10856 Possible Causes:
10856 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10856 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
