This code were stamped on VW Engine case pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low and wait then evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open is the final reason of the code. |

10854 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 10854 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
