Diagnosing engine bar with water in fuel sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction . So for next mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high is the final reason of the code. |
10849 Possible Causes:
10849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10849 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
