Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ or change o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
10848 Possible Causes:
10848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10848 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
