Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low or change torque management feedback signal "a" will delay your vw fault. |
10840 Possible Causes:
10840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 10840 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
