Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
10838 Possible Causes:
10838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 10838 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
