The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission control unit (j217), programming error or change control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
10821 Possible Causes:
10821 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10821 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
