10818 Description And Summary : |

When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit or change transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
10818 Possible Causes:
10818 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10818 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
