This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground or change ecm/pcm power input, signal is the final reason of the code. |
10817 Possible Causes:
10817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10817 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
