This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake shift lock, malfunction also throttle actuator control motor, control circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10808 Possible Causes:
10808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 10808 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
