The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault kick down switch malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance and wait then secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10806 Possible Causes:
10806 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 10806 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
