The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 8 above knock threshold It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition switch accessory position, circuit high . On the other hand ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
10794 Possible Causes:
10794 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10794 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
