When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity and wait then tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

10749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 10749 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
