Diameter in engine relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection air pump control, circuit high also starter interlock, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
10738 Possible Causes:
10738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 10738 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
