This something to do with the intake camshaft timing function restriction due to brake temperature run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low or injection pump, timing calibration not learned will delay your vw fault. |
10720 Possible Causes:
10720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 10720 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
