When you open data bus engine/engine, defectively run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ and secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
10718 Possible Causes:
10718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10718 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
