The problem is about secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off and wait then vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10702 Possible Causes:
10702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10702 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
