This something to do with the intake camshaft timing particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high . On the other hand data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring is the final reason of the code. |
10697 Possible Causes:
10697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 10697 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
