10696 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine please check dtc memory of airbag ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance or change injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
10696 Possible Causes:
10696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10696 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
