The problem is about camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit or change intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
10693 Possible Causes:
10693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10693 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
