When you open nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit and wait then fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10690 Possible Causes:
10690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 10690 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
