Staring in engine throttle angle signal stuck off mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10688 Possible Causes:
10688 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10688 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
