When you open system too rich at higher load, bank 2 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ you can see the intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |

10687 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10687 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
