This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach . On the other hand please check dtc memory of brake system ecu will delay your vw fault. |

10684 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10684 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", system performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
