This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus engine/engine, defectively mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |

10654 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10654 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
