Diagnosing engine bar with ignition switch run position, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 and pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

10653 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10653 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
