When you open please check dtc memory of adr control module mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high . So for next mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
10640 Possible Causes:
10640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10640 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
