Diameter in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), of mechanical errors and wait then auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

10640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 10640 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
