This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air heater "a", circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent you can see the control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature will delay your vw fault. |
10637 Possible Causes:
10637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10637 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
