10601 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent or ignition switch run/start position, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10601 Possible Causes:
10601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10601 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
