When you open evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission range display, circuit short to b+ . So for next transmission control unit (j217), programming error will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 10583 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
