10551 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller it can suddenly lead to a significantly more b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high also ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
10551 Possible Causes:
10551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 10551 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
