Accumulated in electronic control units so outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |

10549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10549 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
