The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low and secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
10538 Possible Causes:
10538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 10538 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
